Blog Post 06-14-2025 The Ordinary in Life is Important.

St. Thomas More said, "The ordinary acts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest."

In the book Colors, the story “Time Well Spent” offers us the provocative insight, “There’s more to get thrilled about in the ordinary than the extraordinary. [Colors, “Time Well Spent” pg. 73.]

Joseph P. Creamer wrote, “… philosopher John Rawls’s observation that ordinary life needs to be “graced by something to be worthwhile.” [Joseph P. Creamer is a lecturer at the University at Albany, State University of New York.]

Our lives may be Ordinary but when we live them for the Lord, through His Grace they will become Extraordinary.

May God Be Praised.
