Jesus isn’t rubbing Peter’s nose in his [Peter’s] betrayals of Jesus, no Jesus tells Peter and us to love Him as best we can and He [Jesus] will meet us where we are in loving God.
Faith is easy to say and hard to live.
Thankfully, with God when we fail, we can follow the advice of St. Francis de Sales, “Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself.”
When we fail, which we will, we should pick ourselves up dust off our failure and continue with God’s Grace. Remember Jesus meets us where we are & leads us to where we need to be.
Our Gospel Antiphon today is “The Holy Spirit will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.”
Listen too; trust and follow the Holy Spirit.
May God Be Praised.
