“What is Time?
St. Peter tells us, “There is no time with God: a thousand years, a single day, it is all one.” [2 Peter 3:8]
“O Lord, you have been our refuge from one generation to the next. Before the mountains were born or the earth or the world brought forth, you are God, without beginning or end.” [Psalm 90]
Many years ago, The Rolling Stones sang, “Time is on my side, yes it is, Time is on my side, yes it is ….” Well time only exists here on earth, when we move into eternity time ceases, but God’s love does not. Nonetheless God calls us to use our time here on earth to know, love and serve Him, so we are prepared to be with him forever. So, use your time wisely.
