Our Lenten Journey - A Prayer and A Plea for Peace in Ukraine
Let us bend our knees and our hearts and pray
to the Lord. O God of mercy and of love
the people of Ukraine are suffering (greatly), Come to their assistance. We know that you “… shall judge between the nations
and impose terms on many peoples. They
shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; One
nation shall not raise the sword against another, nor shall they train for war
again.” [Isaiah]
May the peace You offer reign in our hearts, in the hearts of the people of Ukraine, in the hearts of the people of Russia and in the hearts of all the people of the world.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, intercede for us.
St. Michael, ask God to help the Ukrainians.

And with St. Francis de Sales let us remember, "We shall steer safely through every storm, so long as our heart is right, our intention fervent, our courage steadfast, and our trust fixed on God."
