Pray to the Blessed Mother for her Intercession
St. Juliana of Norwich said, "Truth sees God, and wisdom contemplates God, and from these two comes a third, a holy and wonderful delight in God, who is love."
Mary showed us how to see, contemplate and delight God, by simply loving Jesus, our Lord and our Savior. So, “When you are suffering, carrying your cross or crosses – remember the Blessed Mother, Mary most holy stands at the foot of your cross, as she stood at the foot of the Cross of her Son. Ask her to intercede for you not so much to remove the cross, but for the strength to offer it up, to mingle it with her Son’s suffering and cross.” [Dcn. George Kelly]
REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
