Question - Answer
Thomas Friedman wrote about starting with a question .... “A Nobel Prize winner was asked how he became a scientist. He said that every day after school, his mother would ask him not what he learned but whether he asked a good question that day. That, he said, was what led him to become a scientist. [Connections, August 2021, Thomas L. Friedman, The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century.]
“God ‘teaches’ in every human experience; God ‘speaks’ in every act of generosity and every moment of forgiveness; God reveals his presence in our midst in the compassion, humility and peace we experience and extend.” [Connections, August 2021]
Faith is not so much about knowing but seeking, less about believing and more about trusting. Discovering God’s presence in our daily lives starts with asking the questions And many times, not getting answers, but giving our unanswered questions to God and Trusting that God is leading us.
Jesus asked Peter and the Apostles, “Who do you say that I am?” Your answer to that same question is the most important question you will ever answer because Jesus will either be the center of your life, or a voice in the background of your life.
