A Thought about Prayer
“This is the art of the soul: to harvest your deeper life from all the seasons of your experience.” [O’Donohue, Beauty]
“Prayer is primarily a work of the heart, rather than a work of the head, but both head and heart are necessary. Praying should be simple, and resolutions made during prayer should be simple as well. Our prayer should reflect our innermost desire to draw closer to God. Prayer equals Trust, Trust that the Lord God to lead us to “still waters” where we will rest and renew our spirit.” [Dcn. George Kelly]

Dad
As ever, thanks, Deacon George!

The "simple" basics... Love God, & love people! (Which of course are anything BUT "simple" to live truly, eh?)
Sinner that I am, aspiring to daily conversion, I have yet to perfect living Christ's "greatest & first commandment" and/or "the second like it." And just for fun, adding the tenets of The Lord's Prayer, The 10 Commandments, & maybe the 7 Deadly Sins & Cardinal Virtues, and I have MORE than a lifetime of work to do just on myself & need look no further! Pray for me, as I for you.
Thanks again for your ministry.
Keep the faith.
