            Living the Lord’s Way
Jesus wants to transform us from simply following the law to living the spirit of the law, from not killing to controlling our anger, from not committing adultery to viewing each human being with respect, as a child of God.

God knows our actions, our motives and attitudes, God understands the why of our deeds.  The Lord knows our hearts. Jesus challenges us each day us to allow His Beatitudes to form our wills, our souls, our hearts and guide our actions.  Jesus came to show us the human face of divine love!

Our society tries to tell us that there is no sin, and some people are astonished to discover that there is sin, personal sin.  Jesus gave us the Sacrament of Reconciliation [Penance] to strengthen us so we do not have to live in sin.

Sin is real, not an antiquated idea.  We sin and we need grace to be healed and to be strengthened.  The evil one, the devil, wants us to fail, so we join him in misery and despair.

Penn Dot provides our roads with traffic lights, stop signs, yield signs, speed limit signs, etc. to help us drive safely.

Jesus wants us to be the best that we can be.  Being His disciple takes hard work discipline, effort and perseverance.

Jesus gave us gave us The Beatitudes to interpret the Mosaic law and illuminate how to live it.  Living the Beatitudes will enable us to be the best disciples of Christ that we can be.

May God Be Praised!
