Sin alienates us from God; our Catechism explains it this way:Sin is present in human history; any attempt to ignore it or to give this dark reality other names would be futile…. [We] must … recognize the profound relation of man to God, for only in this relationship is the evil of sin unmasked in its true identity   ….” (CCC)

Jesus teaches us that we are called to share life intimately with God; Jesus, also, reminds us to always be prepared for His return.

You & I are called to live our faith by seeing the world through the eyes of Christ.  Bishop Robert Barron wrote, “Everything else in Christian life flows from & circles around the transformation of vision.  Christians see differently, & that is why their prayer, their worship, their actions, their whole way of being in the world, has a distinctive accent & flavor.”   (William Bausch, The Yellow Brick Road, p.19)
The best way to do that is - to live a life of prayer & to regularly reflect on our life’s priorities: our actions, our choices, our manner of living.  Set aside some time today to pray this litany
