Carol Sandberg said, "A baby is God's opinion that life should go on." Jesus calls us to be his children, God wants us to continue Jesus’s Work, that is the reason He created us, it is the reason we are here.
Today is the feast of St. Jane de Chantal who offers us this insight, “God is so good that he never ceases to work in our hearts to draw us out of ourselves, out of vain& perishable things, so that we can receive his grace & give ourselves wholly to him.” [Wisdom from the Lives & Letters of St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal, p.22]
We are called to be God’s children so our hearts can discover His total love for us.
Jesus goes after the one lost sheep, but He never forgets the ninety-nine who do not stray.
