Blog Post 3-22-2025 My Oldest Grandson Receives the Sacrament of Confirmation Today

                                                                                                
 

Here are the lessons I hope and pray my grandson Caiden John Sebastian Kelly learns and lives. From the prophet Jeremiah, “Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose hope is the Lord.” [17:7]

Choose to follow the Lord and choose the good, and the Lord will bless you. In Matthew’s Gospel Jesus challenges us, “Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours.” [6:20].

Jesus does not want us not to get attached to material things but instead to “Live Jesus” *by offering our work, our recreation, everything in our life to God.  When God is the primary focus of our life, the sorrows and the joys become a gift.

Caiden wisely chose his Aunt Lizzie to be his sponsor, she will be a wonderful mentor.

May God Be Praised and May Caiden John Sebastian Kelly be filled with the Holy Spirit, and follow the Holy Spirit each day of his life.
