Today offer prayers of
Thanksgiving to the Lord because the Lord “… has done marvelous deeds.” Think
about the marvelous deeds God has done in your life, starting with life itself.
Jesus has destroyed
death and brought life through the Gospel. The Scribes claimed Jesus was possessed
by Beelzebub and that should remind us that when we ridicule or demonize
someone, we take the path of the scribes.
In the movie “Bambi,”
the character Thumper gives this advice, “If you can’t say something nice
[good about some] don’t say anything at all.”
Think about the words
you use because they can build up or tear down.
