As many of you know my daughter-in-law suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm on July 4, 2018, she was in a coma for several weeks and has made a “miraculous” recovery. Your prayers, support and well wishes have provided Brian, his children, and our family with grateful, hope-filled, and thankful hearts.
During our recent vacation in Sunset Beach, N.C. Laurie was able to return to the sand and see the surf firsthand, see below. My son Joseph summed all our emotions and heart filled joy, “If could bottle a beach day, it would be today.” A picture of their gold medal is above:
We don’t get to choose our crosses, but we do get to choose how we bear them. Thank you, again, for your prayers and support as Laurie and Brian travel their road to recovery.
God, our refuge, and hope, we turn to You during this COVID 19 Pandemic and plead for Your intercession. In Your mercy and compassion, You carry the dead home and give us grace to comfort each other. As the Pandemic persists, in its Delta variant form and we try to return to “normal” life, may that “normal” be filled with prayer and thanksgiving for You and for the many blessings You give us. May we follow Your Light as we continue our earthly journey and prepare for the gift of eternal life. Amen.
