Thoughts from meditation from two saints and Psalm 27
"I
am sent not only to love God but to make Him loved. It is not enough for me to
love God, if my neighbor does not love Him."
"We should take as a maxim
never to be surprised at current difficulties, no more than at a passing
breeze, because with a little patience we shall see them disappear. Time
changes everything." [St.
Vincent de Paul]
“When
God sends inspirations into a person’s heart, one of the first that is given is
obedience.”
"We
shall steer safely through every storm, so long as our heart is right, our
intention fervent, our courage steadfast, and our trust fixed on God." [St. Francis de Sales]
I
am sure I shall see the Lord’s goodness
in
the land of the living.
Hope in him, hold firm and take heart.
Hope in the Lord! [from Psalm 27]
Hope in him, hold firm and take heart.
Hope in the Lord! [from Psalm 27]
Today’s Mission, if you accept it, is to be God’s witness to
your neighbor, accept the difficulties that appear on your path, be obedient to
God’s promptings, make God your north star and “Hope in the Lord!”
May God Be Praised!
