It is difficult to be quiet in mind and heart, yet God calls us to spend time in silence with Him. “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” [Psalm 37: 7]
Do not worry about what is going on around you, seek the silence within you, for there God dwells, and don’t worry about staring over and over. One minute in silence each day will grow to the time of silence you need to deepen your friendship in and with God [Father, Son & Holy Spirit].
