St. Irenaeus said, “Christ opened heaven for us in the manhood he assumed.”
St. Ambrose offers us this insight, "Christ Himself is our mouth through which we speak to the Father, our eye through which we see the Father, our right hand through which we offer to the Father. Without His intercession neither we nor all the saints have anything with God."
And so, we pray, “Lord, you have renewed the face of the earth. Your Church throughout the world sings you a new song, announcing your wonders to all. Through a virgin, you have brought forth a new life to our world; through your miracles, new power; through your suffering, new patience; in your resurrection, new hope, and in your ascension, new majesty.” [Dcn. Kelly]
May God Be Praised.
