“We have been called and Baptized to be Light for others, Jesus told His disciples, and He reminds us that you don’t light a lamp and then hide the light it provides. Our light as disciples of Christ should not be hidden but lived to shine before all. When a light is placed on a lampstand, placed to give light, it [then] gives light to everyone who comes in contact with it. Our Light isn’t for itself, it is to give light to the secular culture in which we live.
We are at our best when we reflect the Light of Christ to the world.” [Deacon Kelly]
