St. Francis de Sales advises us to “Make friends with the angels, who though invisible are always with you.
Often invoke them, constantly praise them, and make good use of their help and assistance in all your temporal and spiritual affairs.”
In our Responsory 9/29/2021 we prayed, “An angel stood by the altar, holding a golden censer; a large quantity of incense was given to him,
- and clouds of incense rose from the hand of the angel in the presence of the Lord.
Thousands upon thousands waited on him, and myriads upon myriads stood before him.
-And clouds of incense rose from the hand of the angel in the presence of the Lord.” [Revelations 8:3,4; Daniel 7:10]
My sons will tell you every time we golf my Guardian Angel intervenes on my behalf. Regardless of whether or not that happens I suggest you follow the advice of St. Francis de Sales, “Make friends with the angels, who though invisible are always with you. Often invoke them, constantly praise them, and make good use of their help and assistance in all your temporal and spiritual affairs.”
