God of all nations, Father of the human family, we give you thanks for the freedom we exercise and the many blessings of democracy we enjoy
in our beloved United States of America.
We ask You to pour out Your grace, Your guidance and Your protection on all who devote themselves to the common good. May their work for justice and peace at home and around the world bear much fruit.
We lift up all our duly elected leaders and public servants, Joseph Biden as President, Kamala Harris as Vice President, and all the legislators, state officials and judges.
Let the healing of our nation begin today and grant that our government leaders seek and find the many areas that unite us, O Lord. In the years ahead, with all Americans may we find common purpose, dedication, and commitment to achieve liberty and justice for all people, especially those who are most vulnerable in our midst. Amen.
