Pope Francis said, “The Jubilee has now opened so that all
people may receive the hope of the Gospel, hope of love and hope of
forgiveness.” The Christmas Season can be one of great Pessimism or
great Hope. In our 1st
reading teaches us, “Do not love the world or the things of the world.”
In our Gospel the prophetess Anna reminds us to give thanks to God for the child - Jesus.
Phil Wickham sings “Song In My Soul,” one stanza might help us today.
“This I know for sure
That Your grace is enough
And Your promise never breaking.”
Trust in God’s promises.
