“In the bleak midwinter”

Reflect on these words from “In the bleak midwinter”
“In the bleak mid-winter
… only His Mother
In her maiden bliss
Worshipped the Beloved
With a kiss.
What can I give Him,
Poor as I am? —
If I were a Shepherd
I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man
I would do my part, —
Yet what I can I give Him, —
Give my heart.”
When you receive the Eucharist may the Beloved’s Kiss envelop and permeate your heart and may your Advent preparations become a holy stable for the Word made Flesh.
Advent Prayer: "Lord, may we praise You with our words, share You with our actions, and embrace You with our hearts & souls. Give us the grace to look forward to Your return & be ready for it."
Love that song!!
