Advent means “coming”, “arrival”; the Advent season has
three thrusts:
- yesterday @ Bethlehem when the Son of God was born of Mary,
- today in our world, in our time - Jesus is always incarnate,
- tomorrow when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, returns in glory.
