Each one of us is called by God to allow His grace: to mold us and to guide us!  Today let’s pray for the WISDOM of the Celtic Saints to do that: knowledge of self, compassion for others, & friendship with God.

Lord,
May our life today give You praise,
May our actions today give You glory,
May our lips today give You praise,
May our hearts today give You glory.
And may our lives give You all glory and praise today and everyday.” [Deacon Kelly]

Nicolaes Maes 1652-1653 (circa), Christ Blessing Little Children formerly attributed to Rembrandt

Jesus calls us to be like the little children, open, trusting and most willing to follow Jesus in good times and in bad times.  He will bring good from all that happens, believe in the Lord and His promise.

Mark Twain said, “I have no problems with the parts of the Bible I don’t understand. It’s the parts of the Bible I do understand that gives me fits." (Sermons.com 02/20/11)

We know the Sermon on the Mount, how are we living it?

“On you I muse through the night for you have been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice.  My soul clings to you; your right hand holds me fast.”  (Psalm 63)

Yesterday we celebrated the feast of the Holy Guardian Angles, today thank God for your Guardian Angel who is with you constantly, helping you find your way to the Kingdom of God.

Spend a few minutes reflecting on Howard Thurman’s poem.
WHEN THE SONG OF THE ANGELS IS STILLED
When the Song of the Angels Is Stilled
When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and the princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flocks,
The work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost,
To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry,
To release the prisoner,
To rebuild the nations,
To bring peace among people,
To make music in the heart.
Let the work of Christmas begin! Let’s begin it together!

“Be strong, let your heart take courage, all who hope in the Lord.” [Psalm 31]

The Lord wants each of us to believe in Him, to follow Him and one day to be with Him forever in Heaven, we should center our lives on our eternal life.
Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS reminds us about the most important prayer we can ever utter.

May God Be Praised!

CODA
“Save, O God this vagrant seeking You
from ever finding You.  Find me rather
in Your ceaseless search
where I already am.

Draw me with You into
Your vagabond life,
Forever searching and forever finding,
and make it mine.

Relieve me of wanting and having,
My ever having and wanting.  Take me into
the circle dance of Your freedom
which never searches
and never possesses.

In You to seek and to find are ever one.
In You seeking and finding never are.
How can I seek what is already here?
How can I find what never was lost?"
[In Praise of the Useless Life, p.137]
