Our Lord loves the virtue of humility, why? St. Teresa of Avila offers us this insight “… it is because God is the supreme Truth and humility is the truth, … we have nothing good of ourselves but only … [when we] realize this fact most deeply are the most pleasing to God, the supreme Truth ….." [Interior Castle, pp. 175-176]
The Truth is that God created us, and God loves us. We are on earth to learn to love God.
