Blog Post 12/08/2022 Advent Sojourn – An Update on Laurie’s Progress on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Kennesaw Kellys are preparing for Christmas with spiritual reminders (see the picture below) and being thankful for God’s Faithfulness.

Laurie’s miracle recovery continues she and Brian just had her annual medical review with the surgeon whose skilled operations were instrumental in Laurie’s brain aneurysm being successful coiled [Brian, Laurie & Dr. William Humphries pictured during her annual check-up]

Laurie’s hard work with her therapy program enables her to make progress with her recovery, now 4 & ½ years and still going.  Her ever supportive and loving husband Brian carries much of the family efforts; Brian manages the household, works full-time and leads the family’s spiritual development, including Sunday Mass at St. Catherine’s [Kennesaw, GA], grace at meals, bedtime prayers and Caiden, Berkleigh’s participation in Families Forming Disciples at their parish.

In this season of Thanks, I want to thank you for your prayers, well-wishes and support over these  4 plus years. Advent is the season of preparation and waiting. And I want to thank the Blessed Mother for her intercession for Laurie, Mary is a sure way to Jesus’ heart.

Laurie keeps Preparing for her full recovery and Waiting for the day to celebrate it.  The Kennesaw Kellys are deeply grateful for the many rosaries, prayers and Masses offered for Laurie and for them.  Please continue to pray for Laurie, Brian, and their children Caiden and Berkleigh; they are grateful for all that has been, and they Hope and Trust in God for all that will be.

May God Be Praised.
