As a Disciple – follower of Jesus Christ, we are called to give our entire life and all we do to God, for God’s glory.

In Luke’s Gospel where Jesus says you cannot be His follower without hating your mother and father sounds harsh, but when we look at it through St. Augustine’s lens we get another perspective, “Let us reply to our father and our mother: ‘I love you in Christ, not instead of Christ.’”

As long as Christ is first in all we do, all will be well.
