During Lent we prayed with the psalmist, “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts.”  Let us not harden our hearts now as we live as an Easter people.

deSales teaches us the ways of the heart, our hearts being formed & conformed to God’s heart.

Our friendships should be heart speaking to heart; helping each other grow closer to God!

As we start another week we should keep the advice of St. Francis de  Sales in our thoughts, “Calm your mind, lift up your heart.”

Francis shared this powerful insight abut marriage, “In marriage there is communication of life, work, goods, affection, and indissoluble fidelity and therefore married friendship is true, holy friendship.”

Yesterday my wife Joanne and I had the privilege of witnessing two miracles.  Our grandson Caiden John received his 1^st Eucharist and his Mom was able to attend.  His Dad, sister Berkleigh, his Uncle Joe, and his Aunts Jackie and Carolyn were at Mass with us at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Kennesaw, GA.

Thank you for your prayers for Laurie,  [my son] Brian and their children Caiden and Berkleigh, please continue to pray for them.  Laurie is making great progress and now even her son Caiden can offer up his Holy Communion for her full recovery.

Today my oldest grandson makes his 1^st Holy Communion, a day of great blessings for him and for our family.  The Lord Jesus will be the gift given and the gift received by Caiden John this day and every day he is privileged to receive the Lord in the Eucharist. 

I thank God for the blessing C.J. is to our family and because C.J. may offer up his Communion for the continued and total healing of his Mom [Laurie]] and for the witness his Dad has been in aiding Laurie back to full health.

May God Bless the Kelly Family today and everyday.

Praying and loving are two sides of the coin in the Way that Jesus taught us.  The most important prayer you can offer today is to love someone the way Jesus would have if He were here.

St. Francis de Sales said, “It is not those who commit the least faults who are the most holy, but those who have the greatest courage, the greatest generosity, the greatest love, who make the boldest efforts to overcome themselves, and are not immediately apprehensive about tripping.”

Let’s strive to live and to love as Jesus showed us when He walked the earth.

Prayer for God's Inspiration:

Father, may everything we do begin with your inspiration, and continue with your saving help.

Let our work always find its origin in you, and through you reach completion.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.  Amen.

Today we celebrate and remember St. Joseph and we begin the month of May, Mary’s month.

Ask St. Joseph to intercede for your intentions today as you pray the Hail Mary.
