Blog Post 9/04/2024 – Tonight’s Night Prayer

 

Protect me, Lord, as my waking hours wane, watch over me as I sleep tonight, give me the grace to rest in Your Peace.

Lord, if You call me [tonight] to the “land of the living”, may I go in peace having fulfilled Your Word, to see and partake in the salvation You have prepared.  May Your Glory be revealed to all people, of all ages and of all nations.  [an adaptation of the Canticle of Simeon, Luke 2:29-32]
