Grace & Joy 

  St. Teresa of Avila wrote, "In this life our lot is not to enjoy God, but to do his holy will."

 

St. Francis de Sales advises us, “Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset."

 

Doing God’s Holy Will occasionally will bring us joy, yet more often gives us the grace to preserve with our crosses.  Our inner peace enables our joy to blossom and give God thanks for the gift of Grace.
