Earthly End and Eternal Beginning
In an Antiphon
from Liturgy of the Hours we pray, “Awake, lyre and harp, with praise let us awake the
dawn.” When God calls me home to “the
land of the living”, I shall pray at the dawn of eternal time, and I will ask
God for mercy, and I will be awakened, and will praise God forever. Amen. Alleluia!
