Our Lenten Journey – 4/05/2022

“Let your Word, Father, be a lamp for our feet and a light to our path, so that we may understand what you wish to teach us and follow the path your light marks out for us.”  [Liturgy of the Hours]

“If we are honest with ourselves, we know that none of us is without sin and always does what is right.  We all have reason to reflect on our actions.  The gospel calls us to repent and be converted in a world that is often superficial, chaotic, and confused…. [we should] ask ourselves two essential questions: Where am I now?  Where am I going?”  [A Path into Life by Walter Kasper, Invitation, p. v]

Today reflect on those two questions.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, intercede for us.

St. Michael, ask God to help the Ukrainians.

May God Be Praised and your day be Blessed.

“God of Peace, in Lent you draw us together to witness the depth of your love for us. Allow that love now to intercede in the invasion of Ukraine. Rescue your children. Unite our family. End this war.”  Amen. [Tatyana Borodina]
