St. Francis de Sales called it Living the Present Moment, in our present moment is the call to Holiness.
Holiness is found in our daily life, in the good, the irritating, the gifts and the crosses of life. God’s Will for us is our vocation, our state in life and that is where we can become holy. Each day we are challenged renew ourselves to God, by thought and by prayer. [Dcn. Kelly]
St. Jane de Chantal said there are two pillars of holiness: the desire for holiness and our duties and responsibilities. Our duties and responsibilities are where we live our path to holiness each day.
One of the keys to Holiness is Fidelity in prayer and the willingness to start over again and again. Be faithful to God in prayer, the rewards are out of this world.
