This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad, alleluia.

Carlo Caretto wrote,

"When you forgive your enemy,

When you feed the hungry,

When you defend the weak,

you believe in the resurrection.

When you have the courage to marry,

When you welcome the newly-born child,

When you build your home,

you believe in the resurrection.

When you wake at peace in the morning,

When you sing to the rising sun,

When you go to work with joy, you believe in the resurrection.

Belief in the resurrection means filling life with faith,

it means believing in your brother,

it means fearlessness towards all."

Alleluia, the Lord is risen as he promised, alleluia.

“None of us lives as his own master and none of us dies as his own master. While we live we are responsible to the Lord, and when we die we die as his servants. Both in life and in death we are the Lord’s. That is why Christ died and came to life again, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.”  [Romans 14:7-9]

[Easter Season 2021 from Morning Prayer 4/10/2021]
