Most COVID 19 Lifestyle changes temporary but annoying.
Some things I’d like to do:
Go to breakfast, lunch or dinner at a restaurant with my wife
Go to the store without standing in line wearing a mask & standing 6 feet apart
Go to a bakery on a whim & buy some fresh donuts or pastries
Go to the shore for a day sit in the sun on the beach
Go to a store and look at cloths in person not virtually
Go to the golf course with my sons, or close friends ride in the cart, shake their hand after the round of golf
Go to visit my children & grandchildren, hug them and take them for an ice cream
Go to Our Lady of Perpetual Help School to pick up my twin granddaughters on Monday & Tuesday have a snack with them, help their homework & get them home for dinner.
Go to Mass and after Mass greet parishioners with a handshake or hug
But, most importantly receive the Eucharist, then I will know that all will be well.

“Lord, listen to my prayer: turn your ear to my appeal.” [Psalm 143]
God, You are our refuge and our hope, we turn to you during this Covid 19 pandemic and plead for Your intercession.
In Your mercy and Your compassion “… grant eternal rest to the dead, comfort to mourners, healing to the sick ….” [Collect from Mass Time in Pandemic].
Grant strength to the first responders and medical personnel.  End this coronavirus scourge.  Bring Your light to all who wander in the darkness of this pandemic and give each of us hope in Your eternal love today and every day.  Amen.
[Dcn. George Kelly]

Let me conclude with this edited of a Coronavirus prayer: Jesus … you traveled through towns and villages “curing every disease and illness.”
Come to our aid now, in the midst of the global spread of the coronavirus, that we may experience your healing love.
Heal those who are sick with the virus …
Heal us from our fear …
Heal us from our pride ….
Jesus …  healer of all, stay by our side in this time of uncertainty and sorrow.
Be with those who have died from the virus.
Be with the families of those who are sick or have died.
Be with the doctors, nurses, researchers and all medical professionals who seek to heal and help those affected.
Be with the leaders of all nations [and] give them the [courage to work for the common good].
Jesus … stay with us [and] give us your peace.
Jesus … heal us.  Amen.  [America Magazine - A Coronavirus Prayer, Kerry Weber March 02, 2020]
