St. Matthew provides a wonderful metaphor “You are the salt of the earth … you are the light of the world ….”

We are called to be salt and add something good to each person we encounter; we are called to a light in the darkness of our world by living the Sermon on the Mount.  If we do that our world will be better and our Lord will be pleased!
