“God wants us to ask, seek, and petition persistently not in order that he might be changed but that we might be changed.”  [In Bishop Barron’s book Catholicism commenting on St. Augustine and why we should pray]

If you were fortunate enough to have a loving father as you grew up (like me), you experienced asking for things and receiving some yeses and some noes, but always receiving an answer through your father’s love.  God our Father wants us to be the best person we can be and that means trusting Him with the answer that ultimately is best for us.

May God Be Praised!
